Daytime Postpartum Doula Services

Service Description

A Postpartum Doula works with each family individually to accommodate their particular needs. Some of the postpartum services that a doula will perform include: -Breastfeeding and bottle feeding support and tips -Assistance with newborn care, bathing and sleep routines -Guidance with processing fluctuating emotions and physical recovery after birth -Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying up, dishes, etc.) -Light meal preparation -Postpartum nurturing for the birthing parent (preparing sitz baths, foot soaks, etc.) -Referrals to local resources (lactation consultants, pelvic floor therapists, new parent support groups, etc.) -Being an ear to bend and a shoulder to cry on Available Hours: 9:30 am-2:00 pm Only serving Ventura County (including Carpinteria, Agoura Hills and Calabasas)
