Overnight Postpartum Doula Services

Service Description

A Postpartum Doula works with each family individually to accommodate their particular needs. Some of the postpartum services that a doula will perform include: -Breastfeeding and bottle feeding support and tips -Taking "the night shift" with newborn care such as feeding, burping, diapering, bathing, soothing, etc. (aka more sleep for the new parents!) -Assistance with newborn care, bathing and sleep routines -Guidance with processing fluctuating emotions and physical recovery after birth -Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying up, dishes, etc.) -Light meal preparation -Referrals to local resources (lactation consultants, pelvic floor therapists, new parent support groups, etc.) -Being an ear to bend and a shoulder to cry on during those long, lonely late-night hours Available Hours: 10 pm-6 am; up to 4 nights per week A $50/hour investment for Ventura County (including Carpinteria, Agoura Hills and Calabasas) A $60/hour investment for Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties (within 60 miles of Ventura) *Ask about our packages!
